Lucas Funerals & Cremations provides an opportunity for bright, aspiring students to secure a $1,500 scholarship towards achieving their dreams. With certifications and degrees in business related fields from associates through master's levels being eligible, this yearly award exemplifies Lucas' commitment to the success of young minds striving for excellence in the funeral home field.

Submission
What technologies are advancing the funeral home field towards bringing families closer to their loved ones and how should funeral businesses apply this?
Submission Requirements
Essays must be submitted in Word (.doc / .docx) .
Essays must be at least 1,000 words long and no longer than 1,500.
Your essay needs to properly cite any outside sources you utilize or refer to.
Your creations must be original! Essays that are plagiarized will be eliminated without exception.
Eligible Students
Students pursuing a certification, certificate, associates, or bachelors degree in business or a related field are eligible for this award.
Award Amount
The scholarship amount is $1,500. On Friday, October 27th, 2023, one recipient will be chosen.
Deadline
There will be no further submissions accepted after Friday, October 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. (EST).
