Billy Ranck, resident of Burleson Texas, formerly of Azle Texas, passed away on June 29, 2023 doing what he loved, driving home from a car show after hanging out with his friends in his Unicorn at the age of 51.
Billy was born on Jan 18th, 1972 in Fort Worth Texas to Bill and Hazel Ranck. Billy was an Army Veteran and he was a Master Mechanic, specializing in hot rods and classic cars. His greatest joys were his family and friends, riding his side-by-side Mad Max and riding in his Unicorn taking a ride everyday with his “tractor beam of hotness” his loving wife, Mary. He had a contagious smile and laugh. He was a prankster and loved wearing funny and outrageous t-shirts. Everywhere he went he earned new nicknames from Broke down Billy to Hot Sauce. He was even nicknamed Silly Billy by his grandchildren. Billy was Larger than life and had a generous heart. He never met a stranger. Everyone was his friend.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ranck. His children Johnny (Long), Kayla Ranck (Carpenter), Will (Ranck), Angela (Morris), and Jeff (Sweeny), his siblings Eddie Ann Dovey Tara and Rema. Opah is survived by his grandchildren Ella, Lochlan, Raegan, Aubree and Michael. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Hazel Ranck.
The service will be held at Northpoint Baptist, followed by a celebration of his life at Oscar’s at 1 o’clock.
