William Jergen Ohlhaber, born on January 31, 1932, in Schiller Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024. He lived a life marked by his steadfast dedication to family and his passions for the great outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, William found joy in fishing and hunting, pursuits that reflected his deep appreciation for nature and adventure.
William's educational path took him through East Leyden High School, laying the groundwork for a life rich with experiences and connections. His commitment to service was evident during his time in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Ohlhaber. William was the cherished father to three sons, Bill, Tom, and Rick Ohlhaber, who carry on his legacy. His family expanded with grandchildren Nicole, Jack, Audrey, and Carl Roy Ohlhaber, each a testament to the love he cultivated within his family.
William is also remembered by his sister, Renee Paris, whose bond with him remained strong throughout his life. He now joins his deceased loved ones: his mother, Elizabeth Thoele Ohlhaber, his beloved pop, William Ohlhaber, and two sisters, Cherie Callfas and Marge Gary, who welcomed him with open arms into eternal rest.
A memorial service in honor of William Ohlhaber will be held on September 28, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM at 1601 S Main St, Keller, TX 76248.
