William Gene Corbin

William "Bill" Corbin of Fort Worth passed away peacefully at 68, surrounded by loved ones. Born on August 8, 1957, in Michigan, Bill moved to Texas as a child. He proudly graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth and worked as an electrician, with careers at Texas Steel and Arlington ISD.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dorothea Corbin of Fort Worth; daughter, Christy Cruz of Burleson; son, Matt Corbin, and fiancée Becki Jackson of Burleson; granddaughter, Courtney Olivo of Plano; mother, Katherine "Kay" Corbin of Burleson; brother, Robert Corbin Jr.; and Christy’s mother, Vanesa Winters of Burleson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 518 SW Johnson Blvd, Burleson, Texas, 76028.
