Wesley Bennett Holland

It is with heavy hearts we announce Wesley Bennett Holland of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on March 31st, 2026, at the young age of 3 following a battle with WOREE Syndrome.

Born March 12th, 2023 to Jacob and Myra Holland, there was never a dull day in his life. Known to many as Wes or Nugget, he brought joy to everyone around him. He lived an exciting life, traveling often to visit family or adventuring to new places. Between adventures, he spent his days at home doing jumpies, watching Bluey, and playing with his toys. His expressions were worth a thousand words. From smiling to rolling his eyes, and even a few growls, Wesley could communicate his feelings with us. While our time with him was short, he taught us about love and the little blessings we receive every day.

Wesley will live on in the hearts and memories of his parents, Jacob and Myra, and his many great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We love you to the moon and back.

Services will be held at Lucas Funeral Homes in Hurst, Texas on April 8th at 2:00 PM and livestreamed for those unable to travel. Early on, one of Wesley’s favorite toys proved to be balloons. For those attending, we ask that you choose a balloon to bring to the service for Wesley. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Cook Children’s Hospital, Fort Worth for the extraordinary care they gave throughout Wesley’s life.
