Wanita Faye Ketner

Wanita Faye Ketner, 83, of Fort Worth, passed away on February 25, 2026. She was born on July 5, 1942, to Darrell and Goldie Norris in Emporia.

Wanita had a vibrant spirit and a love for life’s simple joys. She enjoyed cheering on the Texas Rangers, rarely missing a game, and spending time in the saddle as an avid horse rider. She was also a devoted fan of NASCAR and especially admired driver Joey Logano. Her enthusiasm for sports and the outdoors reflected her energetic and passionate nature.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Brian Ketner and his wife, Windie; her grandson, Samuel Ketner; her brother, Robert Norris and his wife, Mary Ellen; her niece, Shirley; and her faithful companion, Buddy.

Wanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted Ketner, and her parents, Darrell and Goldie Norris.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
