Wanda F Brightwell

Wanda Faye Brightwell, 86 passed away August 14, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas.  She was born on February 27, 1940, To Edward and Catherine Clark in Cisco, Texas.

She grew up in Winslow, Arizona and graduated from Winslow High School in 1958.  Her Senior year she met the love of her life Delmar James Brightwell who was in Airforce stationed in Winslow. They married on February 9, 1958.

Wanda was a housewife and mother of two children – Kathy and Ricky. When her children were older, she went to work for R-Tec Electronics. She was devoted to her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Brightwell: parents, Edward and Catherine Clark; brothers, Don and Charles Clark; brother-in-law, Samuel, Donnie, and Jerry Brightwell, Jay Godwin, and Reece Cutbirth; nephews, Joe Cutbirth, Bruce and Wesley Brightwell.

Wanda is survived by daughter, Kathryn “Kathy” Taylor, husband, Wes Taylor: son, Ricky Brightwell, wife, Jana Brightwell; Grandchildren, Stefanie Patterson, Brittany Roberts, husband, Ryan Roberts, Sean Patterson, wife, Sydney Patterson, Clay Brightwell, husband, Sergio Reyes, and Brooke Brightwell; brother-in-law Kenneth Brightwell and his wife Josie Brightwell; sisters-in-law Carol Clark, Dorothy, Barbara, Delene, and Kathy Brightwell; great grandchildren Declan, Shyloh, Aria, Maeve and Hazel Roberts, Parker Patterson and many nieces and nephews.
