Victor Manuel Burgos, a proud Veteran of the Navy, born on September 6th, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York, was sent to his eternal home on October 2, 2025 in Euless, Texas.
Victor was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Victor served in the Navy as an aviation mechanic. Victor enlisted in the Navy on August 15th, 1988. He served for 13 years and 26 days ending his time in the Navy on September 10th of 2001. Victor was a highly decorated Petty Officer First Class during his time in the Navy.
Those who knew Victor, please remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading his knowledge, love, and kindness to everyone he encountered.
Victor you will be dearly missed.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Victor is survived by his Wife, Denise Torres Burgos; Daughter, Charlei Elizabeth Burgos; Daughter, Daphne Burgos; Grandson, Marlon Noel Funez; Stepson, Christian M. Callazo; Brother, Joseph A. Mercado; Sisters, Linda S. Ramirez, Joanne L. Alicia, Sandra Joseph, Maria L. Burgos; Best friend, Robert Willars; Pet best friends, Chancho and Birdie; Along with the abundance of nieces, nephews, and family not by blood but by time and love.
The Viewing and Rosary will be Tuesday 10/14/2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Lucas funeral home. Rosary will start at 7:15 p.m.
