She was born in Olden, TX on May 7,1929 to Jesse Lafayette Whisenant and Lucille Fawcett Whisenant

She married James Kelley Moak in 1950, and she was a wonderful mother to 3 sons, James Kenneth Moak, Terry Don Moak, and Tommy Curtis Moak

Besides being a homemaker, she was the cafeteria manager at Tarrant County Jr. College NE for over 20 years.

Vickey was preceded in death by her husband James Moak, her parents, and her brother Lemar Whisenant her six sisters Jesse Simmons, Dan Sewicki, Lucille Thomas, Johnny Hickerson, Mable Gray, and Faye Traylor.
