Timothy Wayne Bragg, 82, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on April 20, 2026, in the home he shared with the love of his life for sixty-one years, Patricia Jo (Benesh) Bragg.
Tim was born on January 31, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, the only child of Leona (Vargo) and Archie Bragg. He grew up in the Akron area, which is also where he met Pat. They were classmates for most of their young lives and graduated together from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1962. Their love story began shortly after high school, and they were married on March 6, 1965. They made their home in and around Cuyahoga Falls OH, where they began raising their family. They have two children, Timothy M. Bragg of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Julianne Bragg of North Richland Hills, Texas.
Tim was a Journeyman Electrician and took great pride in his work. He changed jobs (and locations) throughout the years to keep himself challenged and learning. He was always active and spent countless hours on home improvement projects and whatever hobby he was passionate about at the time. He loved building RC cars and planes, and in more recent years he enjoyed creating drones and LED light kits. Tim and Patricia were devoted animal advocates and welcomed many rescue dogs into their home over the years.
Anyone who knew Tim will tell you he was one of the kindest men they had ever met. He had a gentle spirit, a helping heart, and a way of making people feel cared for. He was always willing to lend a hand, especially if it involved electrical work or building something to make someone’s life a little easier. He was deeply loved by many and will be missed by family and friends throughout Ohio, Florida, and Texas.
Tim is survived by his wife Patricia, their children Timothy and Julie, and his daughter-in-law, Darlene (Ramsey) Bragg. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Taylor Liuzza and her husband Brad Liuzza, and Travis Bragg, along with two great grandsons, Emmit and Sunny Liuzza. He leaves behind his beloved dog Amelia and his extended family, including his sister-in-law Marjorie (Benesh) Weaver and her husband Mike, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Leona and Archie Bragg, and his sister-in-law, Sharon (Benesh) Stein.
At this time the family wishes to mourn in private, and no official services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter or animal foundation, which would honor Tim’s lifelong love for animals.
