Tegan Dakota Galipeau of Keller, Texas, 21, was born on May 3, 2004, in Grapevine, Texas, to William and Theresa Galipeau. From the moment she entered the world, Tegan had a light about her that drew people in—a light that never dimmed and will never be forgotten.
Tegan was a proud graduate of Keller High School, where she loved playing softball and learned the value of teamwork, dedication, and grit—qualities she carried with her throughout her life. She followed her passion into cosmetology, where her talent, creativity, and heart truly shined. Tegan had just begun one of her biggest dreams: opening her own salon suite; Southern Roots. She didn’t just do hair—she built confidence, friendships, and memories. Her greatest joy was making sure every single client felt beautiful, cared for, and special. She wanted everyone who sat in her chair to have a dream experience, and she made that happen effortlessly with her beautiful smile.
Tegan had the biggest heart. She loved fiercely, cared deeply, and made everyone feel like they belonged. Family meant everything to her, and she shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters, Tessa and Tori, who were not only her siblings but her best friends. Her love for country music filled her days and perfectly matched her hardworking spirit and free soul.
Tegan lived with passion—for her work, her family, and the people she loved. Though her time was far too short, the impact she made will last forever. She leaves behind her parents, William and Theresa Galipeau; her sisters, Tessa and Tori; her grandparents, Bill and Maria Zellers; a host of extended family members and countless friends, clients, and loved ones who will carry her memory in their hearts always.
Tegan’s laughter, kindness, and beautiful soul will never be forgotten. She will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure.
