Susan was born on June 16, 1943, in Red Oak, Iowa, to Floyd and Lucille Fall. An only child, she grew up in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School. She later worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years.
Susan enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, shopping, and sharing laughter with those she loved. She especially loved playing cards and Uno with her grandchildren. A woman of faith, Susan treasured the many friendships she built throughout her life. She looked forward to spending summers in Vancouver, Washington, with her daughter and grandchildren.
Susan was known for her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and ability to make others laugh. She was strong, independent, and deeply devoted to her family. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Newman and husband Jon Newman, and their children, Cru, Beau, and Charlie; her son, Chad Good and wife Stephanie Good, and their daughter Madison; her grandson, Taylor Hollingsworth; her great-granddaughter, Summer Hollingsworth; and many dear friends and extended family members.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lucille Fall; her daughter, Lisa Hollingsworth; and her former husband, Sammy Miller.
