Silver Scott Amos

Funeral services for Silver Scott Amos, 51, of Rhome will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Silver passed away on March 21, 2026 in Fort Worth. He was born on December 5, 1974 to Donald and Mary Jo Amos.

Silver had a deep appreciation for working with his hands and found peace in woodworking and tinkering. He especially enjoyed cooking for his family and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. Known for his unique interests, Silver was a published author and was working on his second book. He volunteered his spare time helping his surrounding communities, which brought him great joy throughout his life. He was a huge fan of the Seattle Seahawks, Nebraska Huskers, the LA Dodgers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jonna Amos; his son, Alex Mathew and wife Hilary; his daughters, Emerald Atkinson and husband Jacob, and Megan Hendrickson and husband Michael; his brothers, Donny Amos, Ozzy Amos and wife Michelle, and J.T. Amos and wife Nicole; and his beloved grandchildren, Emmett and Evan Mathew, and baby Hendrickson.

Silver was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy Amos.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
