Dr. Sid James Newton, 69, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 3, 2017.
Sid was born on February 19, 1948 in Sweetwater, Texas to Lowell and Clairene Newton. He faithfully served as the Pastor for Faith Baptist Temple for 27 years. He was a devoted husband, loving father and dependable friend that was loved by so many.
Sid is survived by his loving wife of over 35 years, Cindy Newton; son, David Newton and wife Cassie and many more family and friends.
Visitation: Monday, August 7th from 6 pm - 8 pm at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home 518 SW Johnson Ave. Burleson.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, August 8th at 10 am at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Chapel.
Graveside to follow service at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
