Shannon Roland

Shannon Roland, of Azle, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2024, in Hurst, Texas after a brief illness. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend, to all that knew and loved her. Shannon was born October 18, 1971, in Auburn, Indiana. Shannon enjoyed country life, the deer that roamed around her home. She enjoyed her family, her children and sports. 

Shannon is survived by her husband Jimmy Roland, mother-in-law Dwala Cook, sister-in-law Tawnya Godsey, five children, Jacob, Nikki, Jagger, Ambrosia, and Orian. Two grandchildren, Damon and Hadley. Mother Vickie Laughlin and Father Thomas Laughlin of Hurst, Texas. Sister Taylor and brothers Deek and Brian. Numerous nieces and nephews and uncles and aunts. 

She will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, we ask donations to be given to a local food bank and animal shelters.
