Scott Thomas Brittain, born April 30, 1969 passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024.
Scott was born April 30, 1969, in Fort Worth, Texas to Jack Brittain and Dawn Cunningham. He married Jenny Sisk on September 2, 2011.
Scott worked at Midwest Dental Supply Company as a service Technician for 20 years and worked in the dental field over 30 years. Scott was an avid bowler, a member of the USBC since 1988, he was the current tournament director for PBA Striking Against Breast Cancer. Scott was the Assistant Director for True Amateur Tournament and Mini Eliminator Tournament in Las Vegas. Scott bowled 12, 300 Perfect Games, and 5, 800 series games. He also won the award for 20 years at USBC Open Championships. Scott also attended the Peace Lutheran Men’s Retreat for 25 years and won the Spirit of The Retreat Award.
Scott was a loving father and devoted husband. Full of life, known for his infectious smile and huge hugs. Scott never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Brittain and nephew, Tanner Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny; son Luke Sisk a Marine who is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri; mother, Dawn Cunningham and husband Calvin from Lake Worth, Texas; Step-mother Joyce Brittain from Grandview, TX; sister, Stephanie Ford from Fort Worth, TX; Step-sisters, Emily Moran of Grandview, TX, and Amy Samuel of Grandview, TX; sister in law, Dana Kirkpatrick and husband Darren of Wichita Falls, TX, and sister in law Missy Green and husband Robert Marlow; nieces, Rebecca Reeder and husband Zach, Paige McEwen and husband Andrew, Bailee Cox and Caitlyn Cox; nephews, Raymond Ford and James Ford; great nieces, Caroline McEwen and Raya Reeder; great nephews, Grady McEwen and Miles McEwen; life long friend Phillip Perry and wife Beth; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Scott was passionate about several organizations, but the two closest to his heart are the PBA Striking Against Breast Cancer Tournament, Houston, Texas; and the Peace Lutheran Church Men’s Retreat, Hurst, Texas. You can make a donation to in his name.
