Sandra Magg

Sandra Genelle Magg, 80, of Trophy Club, Texas, passed away on August 10, 2025.

A dedicated public servant, Sandy spent 24 years with the Dallas Police Department, rising to the rank of detective. She was inspired to join the force following the death of her first husband, who was also a Dallas police officer, and devoted her career to serving the community. Since 1977, she was married to Randy Magg, also a retired Dallas police officer.

Sandra is survived by her husband Randy; sons Dr. Robert D. Maxey and Lance Maxey; sister Shirley Vaughn; brother Jerry King; daughters-in-law Dr. Tamyra Maxey and Nicole Maxey; and grandchildren Dr. Hannah Maxey and Haylee Maxey.

Sandra was known for her strong work ethic, generosity, and warm spirit. She cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and made lasting friendships wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
