Sandra Galloway

June 17, 1960 — September 3, 2025

Sandy Galloway, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in her sleep September 3, 2025, in Bedford, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving, funny, giving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on June 17, 1960, to Donald and Janet Morris. Sandy had a green thumb and managed a well-known and well-respected family-owned plant nursery in the DFW area for most of her life. When she wasn’t helping make yards, parks, and the community beautiful, she spent her free time having lunch with her longtime friend Darla, being a loving grandmother, known as Nanny, to her two grandchildren, spending time with her best friend and sister Cathy, and hanging out with her children Adam, Monica, and Scott, playing card games or board games.

Sandy is survived by her children Adam Galloway, Monica Nystrom and her son-in-law Scott Nystrom, two grandchildren Zoey and Jackson Nystrom, her sisters Cathy Morris, Dianne Shawver, and her brother Donald Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Janet Morris. Her Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Lucas Funerals and Cremations in Hurst, Texas at 1321 Precinct Line Rd. Hurst, TX 76053.

Sandy will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.
