Samuel Ryan Garman

Aug 6, 2008 — Sep 8, 2026

Samuel Ryan Garman, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, was born on August 6, 2008, and passed away on September 8, 2026. At just 18 years old, Sam stepped into the arms of his Lord and Savior, where he is now held in perfect peace. His life, though far too short, was marked by quiet strength, kindness, humor, and a deep love for the people and passions that shaped him. Sam was a freshman at the University of North Texas, studying Psychology—a field that reflected his thoughtful nature and his desire to understand and support others. He graduated from Central High School in 2026, where he was a proud member of the Central Soccer Team (CFC). Soccer was a lifelong love for Sam, and his dedication earned him Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team AllDistrict honors during his senior season.

Sam’s interests were wide and joyful. He loved Anime, collected comic books, played games with his family, kept up with every corner of the sports world, and treasured time spent with his friends. Those who knew him best remember him as quiet but deeply present, kind-hearted, and unexpectedly funny—someone whose gentle spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone around him.

Sam’s faith was a steady part of who he was. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now home with Christ, reunited with loved ones who went before him, and surrounded by a peace that surpasses all understanding.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Sammy Mike Smith.

He is survived by his loving parents, John and Brandi Garman; his brothers, Wyatt and Colston Garman; his grandparents, Karen Smith and Fred & Karin Garman; his aunts and uncles, Michael & Stephani Bradford and Ben & Lee Trowbridge; and his cousins, Emeri & Ellisyn Bradford and Cecil Trowbridge.

Sam’s life was a gift—one that will continue to shine through the memories he leaves, the love he gave, and the hope he carried. His family rests in the promise that this is not the end, but the beginning of his eternal life in Christ.
