Ruby Margaret Shaffer of Keller, Texas passed away Friday, November 17, 2017. Margaret was born December 14, 1920 to James Elmer and Lola Hauser Turpin in the community of Mound in Coryell County, Texas. She was a faithful member of the Roanoke Church of Christ. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Richard Shaffer, 4 brothers - Daniel, John, James and Virgil, 1 sister - Arrie Athelene, and 1 son - Phillip Box.
She is survived by her son, Vernie Michael Janes and her brother Raymond Turpin, daughter-in-law, Valinda Box Franks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Metroport Meals on Wheels, New Century Hospice, or the Roanoke Church of Christ.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm, Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Roanoke Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Vernie Michael Janes and her brother Raymond Turpin, daughter-in-law, Valinda Box Franks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Metroport Meals on Wheels, New Century Hospice, or the Roanoke Church of Christ.
