On June 7, 2026 Ronnie Earl Daniels found peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family. Ronnie Earl was born on June 13, 1948 to Edna Earl and Jimmy “LeRoy” Daniels in San Saba, Texas.

Ronnie‘s kindness, generosity, humor and gift of music will forever remain in our hearts. He was best known as the family historian, keeper of ALL the stories, including names and dates of everyone’s birthdays, deaths, and anniversaries. In Ronnie‘s free time you would find him playing his guitar and singing, cheering on his beloved Longhorns and Texas Rangers, or delivering goodies to family (most likely from his lottery winnings)!

Ronnie prided himself as a Perfect Attendance achiever in his Elementary school days, graduated from Midland High School in 1966, and earned a scholarship to The University of Texas at Austin. From 1969-1971, he served as a medic in the United States Army earning the National Defense Service Medal and the nickname “DOC”. Upon his elated homecoming to Texas, he married and became a doting father to Crystal Joy and Benjamin John Daniels. Later in life, he proudly gained the title of “Grandpa RED” and most recently, “Great-Grandpa RED”. Ronnie led an industrious career working alongside many family members from his early days on the farm to building signs with his son until the age of 77.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Crystal and son-in-law, Karl Kirkpatrick, granddaughters Hope and Sophia. Son, Benjamin and daughter-in-law, Amber, late grandson Alexander, grandson Christopher, granddaughters Abby and Kylie (Christian) and great-granddaughter Billie Jo. Favorite Sisters: June, Brenda, Nan Daniels and Marvelous Aunt Molly “MAM”.

Adored Nieces & Nephews: Cher (Stan), Sonny (Mary), JJ, Jeremy (Beth), Rose (Dave), late Jimmie John (Natasha), Katy (Steven), Sara (Miguel), Grant, Austin, Hannah (Gianni), Lauren (Chris), Danielle (Kamil), Devin (Shayna), Kirin (Chris).

13 of the sweetest great nieces & nephews and 7 great-great nieces & nephews.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Edna, big brother, Dr. Jim Daniels, little brother, Gary “GOD” Daniels, and eldest sister, Phyllis “Jean” Suttles. Grandson, Alexander Cole Daniels and nephew, Jimmie John Daniels and a host of loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
