Ronnie Bryant passed away peacefully in his home in Arlington, TX on Saturday, March 15, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born February 18, 1955 to Delbert and Minnie Bryant. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nanette Bryant. He is also survived by his brother Randy Bryant and his wife Emily, children Robert Bryant and Stephanie Lewis and her husband Dustin, as well as 5 grandchildren: Caleb, Brenna, Mitchell, Raylan, and Cashel.
Ronnie spent most of his childhood in Dallas, TX and it was there that he began bowling at a young age. He had a natural talent for the sport and spent time competing in the Professional Bowlers Association. During his working years, Ronnie was a talented computer programmer, and it was in this profession that he discovered he could work with technology to assist in the cycling community. Cycling was Ronnie’s true passion. He and Nanette cycled all over the world and were members of the Dallas Area Tandem Enthusiasts and the Fort Worth Bicycling Association where Ronnie served as ride coordinator. Ronnie completed the Boston-Montreal-Boston 1200k grand randonnéeand founded the North Texas Gravelo gravel cycling group. Ronnie was an expert at designing cycling routes used for the Southwest Tandem Rally, Gravel Locos and for numerous other road and gravel adventures with friends. He had a passion for the outdoors and wanted everyone to enjoy the beauty of nature.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday June 14, 2025 at Texas Star Conference Centre and Golf Course at 6pm.
