Robert was born December 25, 1948 to James Patrick and Margaret (Turnbull) O'Grady in Brooklyn, New York.
Survivors: Wife, Olena "Lasya"; son, James O'Grady; daughter, Corinne Kourim; stepsons, Dmitry Olshevskyy and Yevgeni "Eugene" Olshevskyy; grandchildren, William and Paige; brother, William "Billy' O'Grady; and sister, Karen Houghtaling.
