Robert Glen Giles, 76, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by the family who loved him deeply.
Born in Dallas, Texas, on March 20, 1949, Glen was the son of Billy Wayne Giles and Quita Delores Julian. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1967, attended Tarrant County Junior College, and proudly served in the United States Army with deployments in both Germany and Vietnam. After his military service, Glen built a meaningful career and later retired from the Birdville Independent School District.
Though he wasn’t a man of many words, Glen’s love was always clear in the way he lived his life—especially when it came to his daughter and grandchildren. He didn’t always say “I love you” out loud, but his actions spoke volumes. His love was steady, quiet, and unwavering—felt in the way he always showed up without being asked. For his daughter and grandchildren, he was a constant—at every milestone, every hard moment, and every quiet in-between. His presence was his promise, and through it, he gave them a love that was deep, dependable, and unforgettable.
Glen is survived by his daughter, Crystal Giles Towle, and son-in-law, Ryan; his beloved grandchildren Kolin, Katelyn, and Eric Pino; and his bonus granddaughter, Destinee Arnold. He also leaves behind two sisters, Cathy Giles Bayless and Patricia Giles Patino; three nieces, two nephews, and two great-grandchildren, Trey and Malakai.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, steady presence, and lifelong devotion to those he held dear. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, and the values he passed down through example—loyalty, love, and showing up when it matters most.
