Robert Samuel Andrews Jr., 74, of Fort Worth, passed away on March 29, 2026, in Dallas. He was born November 10, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Robert Andrews Sr. and Dorothy Andrews. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. A memorial service celebrating Robert’s life will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 2:00pm at the funeral home.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School (Class of ’69). After high school Robert Jr. attended Mountain View Community College, Bishop College and Prairie View A&M University as well as a DeVry Institute Graduate. He had a 34-year career as a Computer Support Technician at AT&T. He was a trustworthy, honest dependable & direct person, and as such he was able to connect on a deep level with people that embodied the same traits. Due to his deep passionate desire to learn, apply, and share the knowledge that he gained to orchestrate his own technologically enhanced way of life, as well as help others through his brilliance. He was able to have a special bond with young children. He deeply wanted the best for himself and others, living a life of service doing what he could to help achieve that goal.

Robert will be remembered for his quick wit and love of telling jokes, often bringing laughter to those around him. He enjoyed tinkering and working on projects around the house, always keeping his hands busy. Above all, Robert cherished his family and treasured the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Andrews; his son, Robert Andrews III and wife Courtney; his daughter, Carolin Lewis and wife Jasmine; along with his bonus children Nicole Schiel, and Christoph Rottach and wife Katrin Rottach; his brother, Raynard Andrews; his sisters, Judy Smith, Cheryl Malone and husband Clint, and Jewel Jordan; and his beloved grandchildren, Kenedi Andrews, Noah Rottach & Aidan Schiel.

In addition to his immediate family, he was a beloved uncle and cousin, lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and cousins, with whom he shared a close and cherished bond, and who will deeply miss his warmth and presence.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to St Jude hospital in Roberts name.
