Ricky Lee Bingham

Ricky Lee Bingham, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on October 1, 2026, in Azle, Texas at the age of 67. He was born on April 16, 1959, in Natchez, Mississippi.

Ricky graduated from Dayton High School in 1977 and went on to receive his Agricultural Economics degree from Texas A&M University in 1982. He built a long and successful career in the financial industry, working with R.L. Bingham Financial Group, Met Life, and Ameriprise. Over more than 30 years in business, he earned the respect of many through his dedication and hard work. He was also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and was a MetLife Leaders and Presidents Conference qualifier for many years.

Rick was a member of Southcliff Church of Fort Worth. He will be remembered as the most outgoing and fearless person, someone who was goal oriented, extremely energetic, and funny. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, traveling, and snow skiing, and he brought enthusiasm and joy to the people around him.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bingham, and his son, Matthew Bingham and wife, Cares Bingham. He is also survived by his brother, Timmy Lee Bingham; his niece, Melissa Vargo, and her husband, Dennis; his nieces Kaylee, Kenny, Emily, and Addison Vargo; his nephew, Broden Vargo; and his grandchildren, Charles, Ellie, and Dale Broadley. He was deeply loved by his family and will be remembered with great affection.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Lee Bingham; his mother, Joyce Keener Bingham; and his sister, Tina DuBose.

Visitation will be held on October 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lucas Funeral Home - Burleson, 518 SW Johnson Ave, Burleson, TX 76028. The funeral service will follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home - Burleson. Interment will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Burleson Memorial Cemetery, 490 Memorial Plaza, Burleson, TX 76028.

Ricky Lee Bingham will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those who wish to make a memorial in Ricky’s name may donate to the Alzheimer's Association .
