Ricci Lea Bible, of Bedford, TX passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2025. A strong woman of deep and unwavering faith, Ricci lived her life with grace, resilience, and a beautifully uplifting spirit. She had a rare gift for bringing light into every room, offering encouragement, comfort, and hope to everyone around her.
Ricci was born August 11, 1948, in San Angelo, TX to Robert and Virginia Harris. She spent many years in San Angelo, where she married her beloved husband, Jack. Together they lived in several places including Sweetwater, TX and Abilene, TX where they raised their children and made lifelong friends.
Ricci devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, dedicated mother, and cherished grandmother. Her presence was a source of joy and strength, and her words—always kind, thoughtful, and positive—had a way of making others feel loved and uplifted. She lit up every room with her beautiful smile, fun spirit, and contagious laugh. One of Ricci’s best attributes, and what will be deeply missed, was her wonderful Texas-sized hugs she gave to everyone around her. Ricci had the ability to remind others of the good in every moment. Friends and family knew they could count on her for a reassuring smile, a prayer spoken from the heart, or a simple reminder that brighter days were ahead. She made life better just by being in it.
Ricci is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Jack Bible; son Scott Bible and his wife Kimberly of Frisco, TX; son Brandon Bible and his wife Cheryl of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren Nick Bible, Jordan Browning and her husband Collin, Jaxon Bible, Tyler Bible, and Abbey Bible each of whom she adored and supported wholeheartedly. She is also survived by her dear sister Pam Vest of Bedford, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Harris.
While her family and friends will miss her deeply, they take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord. Her legacy of faith, positivity, and encouragement will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
