Regina Anne Rider

REGINA ANNE (LILLY) RIDER

Born September 21, 1929 and went to be with Jesus on March 1, 2026. She was the daughter of Zed Car Lilly and Virginia Neal Anderson of Sewell Mountain, West Virginia. She married Paul Robert Rider on September 21, 1947. Paul passed away in August 23, 2001. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, sisters Juanita, Inez and Dixie and brother Zed.

She is the mother to Sandy, Randy, Barry, Jan and Michele and her bonus daughter Cathy. She was a great cook, talented seamstress and had a great sense of humor, mostly she was a woman of great faith and it was her duty to always question her children about their faith in God, because she wanted to make sure, they would all go to HEAVEN.

She will be missed by her children, her seventeen grandchildren and many of them said she sure knew how to pick a good switch-James, Carrie Phillip, Shannah, Patrick, Lacy, Clint, Kelly, Shellia, Natalie, Trisha, Michelle, Matt, Asa, Jerrad, John Paul and Ty. Thirty great grandchildren-Tesa, Cody, Madison, Natalie, Chase, Ryan, Chloe, Raelynn, Payton, Kendall, Kooper, Ace, Willow, Lilly, Griffin, Shelby, Kenleigh, Taylor, Tyler, Braelee, Trent, Addison, Avery, Kayden, Brayden, Colton, Milah, Laramie, Wyatt, Sophia, three great great grandchildren-Eli, Issac, Rigby and one on the way, as well as her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

The family has selected cremation at this time, and services will be held at a later time. Regina will be laid to rest next to her husband Paul Rider in West Virgina.
