Raymond Arnold Will
February 20, 1943 – November 17, 2025
Raymond Arnold Will, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and lifelong LaCrosse, Wisconsin native who later made his home in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. Born on February 20, 1943, Raymond lived a hardworking, spirited, and family-centered life that touched everyone who knew him.
Raymond graduated from Logan High School in 1962, where he not only built lifelong friendships but also met the love of his life — his high-school sweetheart, Elizabeth (Betty), who would become his devoted wife and partner through every chapter of life.
He retired from the Continental Baking Company with over 30 years of service, where he was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and unwavering reliability. Raymond was also proud to carry on a treasured family tradition as a third-generation owner of the WW Tavern on George Street, working alongside his grandfather and father. The tavern became a place filled with familiar faces, good memories, and the sound of Raymond’s big, unforgettable laugh — a laugh that could fill a room and lift every heart.
Raymond had an adventurous spirit that lit up his life. He loved duck hunting with his faithful dog, King, by his side. Some of his happiest days were spent racing cars at the old Northside Speedway or riding motorcycles, and he especially treasured the time he spent boating and camping with the family and friends he loved so dearly.
After moving to Fort Worth, Texas, Raymond embraced retirement with the same energy and purpose that shaped the rest of his life. He began selling land, a new venture that he came to love deeply. Meeting people, walking properties, and helping others find the right piece of land brought him joy and a renewed sense of fulfillment.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife and lifelong sweetheart of 60 years, Elizabeth (Betty); his beautiful daughters, Wendy Will-Rea (Larry Rea) and Chris Will; his grandchildren, Preston Mandt, Austin Mandt (Meagan Mandt), Brittany Mandt, Megan Turner, and Samantha Moriarty his great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lincoln, Macie, Wesley and Everleigh Mae, who brought him endless pride and joy; and his sweet cousin, Linda Hulberg, who was the flower girl in he and Elizabeth’s wedding.
He will be remembered for his wisdom, kindness, adventurous spirit, and above all, his warm, booming laugh that made every gathering brighter. Raymond leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and strength that will live on in the generations who adored him.
