Raoul Joseph Goyette

Raoul Joseph Goyette, a devoted and loving husband, father and friend, passed away August 4, at the age of 86.

Raoul was born in Chicago, Illinois July 21, 1939, to Geraldine and Joseph Goyette. He was raised in Chicago and was a graduate of St. Ignatius Catholic High School. He met and married his beautiful wife Joanne, began his career with American Airlines and started a family.

Better known as “RJ” or “Frenchy”, Raoul was an avid reader, enjoyed photography, woodworking, and world history.

Raoul was a very dedicated, caring, strong and courageous man. He was a man of strong faith. He is deeply loved and will be forever missed.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joanne Marie Goyette (nee Kesler), their infant daughter Mary Anne Goyette, his parents and brother.

Raoul is survived by his children, Suzanne Elizabeth Goyette Hunt, Raoul Anthony Goyette, Danielle Marie Goyette, sisters in law Nancy Ryan and Donna Parmer, nieces, nephews and friends of the family.
