David Randall “Randy” Brandon, 81, and Sandra Edith Brandon, 80, beloved parents, grandparents, and devoted spouses for 57 years, passed away just one day apart. Sandra went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2026, and Randy joined her in the arms of Jesus on February 18, 2026. Their family takes comfort in knowing that after a lifetime of love and devotion to one another, they were not separated for long.
Randy was born on December 8, 1944, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a proud graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served his country in the United States Navy. Those who knew Randy will remember his steady presence and his sense of humor. Randy enjoyed golfing and treasured time spent with family, especially his daughter and grandchildren.
Sandra was born on January 8, 1946, in Cleveland, Mississippi. She was a gifted painter whose creativity and warmth touched many. Sandra’s artistic talent was only surpassed by her kindness and her loving heart. Above all, she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, pouring her love into her daughter and grandchildren.
Randy and Sandra were high school sweethearts who later married at the Naval Academy, beginning a journey together that would span nearly six decades. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and friendship. They were known for their strong Christian faith, warm hospitality, and outgoing personalities that made everyone feel welcome.
The legacy of Randy and Sandra lives on through the love they gave and the lives they touched. Their beautiful lives will forever be cherished by their daughter, Sherry; their three grandchildren, Brandon, who recently became a U.S. Marine, Kyle, and Charlotte; and Randy’s younger sister, Kim.
A joint service celebrating their lives will be held on March 17, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, to celebrate their remarkable lives, and to honor the enduring love they shared.
