Phyllis Davis

Our beautiful Mom, Phyllis Marie (Hogan) Davis, 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 6, 2024.Mom was born in Stuart, Iowa and raised in Des Moines. She married Richard Davis on December 11, 1976 before residing in Euless, Texas in 1981. They would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year.

Mom loved being a Grandma and her grandkids loved spending time with her, especially in the summer, swimming in the pool and having cookouts in the backyard. When celebrating the holidays her deviled eggs, baked beans, cookies and butterscotch haystacks were family favorites.

She liked working in the yard, doing puzzles, watching NASCAR, the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed taking vacations, especially Las Vegas, but her favorite trip was to Hawaii.

 Mom is preceded in death by her father Peter Paul Hogan and mother Mary Margaret (O'Brien) Hogan. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Davis, daughters Brenda Estes, Pamela Lee (Chuck), grandchildren Ashlee Estes; Chase, Chandler and Paige Lee, great grandson, Carson Clark, sister Patricia Hogan and extended family.

Mom also adored her dogs Buffy, Sandi and her cat Midnight.

 Our Mom ~ wife, grandma, sister and aunt will forever remain in our hearts where we will always carry her memory with us.
