Funeral services for Paul Keeney Smith, 90, of Fort Worth, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Paul passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026. He was born June 18, 1936, in Ashland, Kentucky, to Paul Spiegel Smith and Annabelle Keeney Smith.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force; and later served a long career with the United States Postal Service, from which he retired.
He was a man of many interests. An avid chess player, Paul also found great enjoyment in building model railroads; and collecting stamps and coins. He kept fit by swimming at the YMCA; and enjoyed multiple sports, playing golf in his younger years.
Above all, Paul was a man of faith. He trusted in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and his faith brought him peace and contentment throughout his life. Paul would want his family and friends to rejoice in this same peace; and make the same profession of faith as he. He would love to see you again one day.
Paul is survived by his children, Michael Smith and his wife, Kim; Sharon Mosley and her husband, Leslie; and Brian Smith and his wife, Dani; grandchildren, Joshua Mosley and his wife, Alissa; Matthew Mosley and his wife, Jessica; Nichole Webster and her husband, Clay; Veronica Caudle and her husband, Trey; Christopher Mosley; Lauren Glover and her husband, Kelbey; Lainey Smith; Landon Smith; Logan Smith; and step granddaughter Makinna Elledge; and great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Bradley Mosley; Cash and Kaya Caudle; Jake Webster; Adalee Mosley; Pearson Glover; and Benjamin Webster.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Deanna Grosswald.
Paul leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, service, and treasured memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
