Paul Hamilton

Paul Hamilton of Burleson, Texas passed away peacefully at 92 years old on January 19, 2026 at Community Hospice in Burleson.

Paul was born in Anna, Texas on December 2, 1933. He was born into a farming family where he went to work at a very early age after only a few years of formal education. As a young adult he began a career in the air conditioning industry where he learned quickly and easily excelled with his energy, attention to detail, and drive to succeed. Paul soon opened a family business in Dallas, Texas the "Hamilton Air Mart" which was a giant success thanks to his integrity, ambition, and perseverance. He retired at an early age but then began another family business, one of the largest at the time and highly acclaimed RV dealerships "Travel Villa", to give his children an opportunity to work and thrive together relocating the entire family to Johnson County.

Paul loved to have fun. Whether it was enjoying his many "toys" with family, telling jokes, riding horses, traveling, enjoying live music or re-inventing the wheel in his shop he always made memories. He was remembered by everyone, always making an impression when he met someone new.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Hamilton; his daughter, Kay Sims; and his son, Larry Don Hamilton. Paul is survived by his son, Rick Hamilton; son-in-law, Mark Sims; sister, Millie Hendricks; and his cherished grandchildren, Brandy Garcia, Adam Sims, and Phillip Hamilton. Additionally, Paul was blessed with memorable moments spent with his great-grandchildren: Bralynn, Drew, and Ayden Garcia, as well as William Sims, Paige, Elaina, and Rylan Chasteen.
