Paul Gregory Dyson

Paul Dyson, a beloved resident of Burleson and formerly of Grand Prairie, passed away peacefully at his home on June 11, 2026, at the age of 65.

Born on July 27, 1960, in Plainview, Texas, Paul was raised there before moving to Lewisville in 1970. He graduated from high school in 1978 and attended Texas Tech University for a year. Throughout his life, Paul had a deep passion for football, playing in high school and college, and later coaching his son’s peewee teams. At the age of 25, he discovered a love for golf, excelling at the game despite having no formal training. It was on the golf course in 2012 that Paul met his wife, Vicki, and the two shared many rounds together before marrying on November 7, 2017. In retirement, they enjoyed traveling across the United States in their travel trailer, creating treasured memories along the way.

Known affectionately as “Pauly” and “GrandPaul,” titles he cherished, Paul was a fun-loving, kind, and hardworking man with a loyal spirit. An avid golfer and dedicated camper, he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Above all, he treasured his family, especially his grandchildren, and valued the friendships he nurtured throughout his life.

Paul is survived by his wife, Vicki Seitzinger; his children, Robert Dyson and wife Krystina, Matt Dyson and wife Amanda, Brandi Howell, and Megan Wills and husband Ben; his mother, Ethel Wynon Dyson "Nona" and his grandchildren, Stacie Howell, Jackson Howell, William “Willy” Dyson, Aubrey Wills, Emily Wills, and Kaitley Wills. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Dyson.

A visitation service will be held on June 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives Paul touched are invited to arrive in your golfwear to celebrate his life and memory.
