Patrick Daniel Pierre

A Life of Purpose, Service & Love

Patrick Pierre was born on November 1, 1960, in Fort-Liberté, Haiti. The first born of Mr. Jodame Pierre and Ephanie Montilus. As the oldest of seven children, he developed the qualities that would define the man he became. He was disciplined, determined, humble, loyal, and charismatic. He had a special ministry of making strangers into family. To him, responsibility was something to embody each day through duty, sacrifice, perseverance, and service. To him, God's word was not just something to preach, but to live by.

Patrick’s faith was an important part of his life. As a young man, he was drawn to priesthood which brought him to pursue faith studies at a seminary in Mexico. Although he followed a different vocation, the values nurtured during that special time remain with him. Making daily prayer, discipline, humility, generosity, patience, devotion to God and his family and his work.

As a young man he attended Guadalajara University. During that time, he was blessed to meet some of his closest friends, and Emmanuela his wife. Graduating in 1996 with a Bachelors of Science in Agronomy and Forest Management he went on to be a project manager in Port-au Prince for Haiti’s department of agriculture.

He later entered the workforce as a high school science teacher at Norman Thomas High School in Manhattan, New York. His time in the classroom reflected both his intellectual curiosity, his love of science, his desire to help others learn, grow, and prepare for their futures.

His life ultimately followed a different path when falling in love with “Mama” Emmanuela, having met in 1993. They married in 1995 and began their beautiful family in 1996 in the echoes of Brooklyn, New York. Stuck between Philadelphia and Texas as the next step in their journey, Texas chose them. He invested heavily in the community, joining the Knights of Columbus in 2007 at their beloved local parish, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in North Richland Hills. As well as spending time supporting his friend and family in any way he could.

He later continued his education at Texas Woman's University, earning a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in 2006. His commitment to accomplishment demonstrated his conviction, growth, preparation, and excellence.

Professionally, Patrick built a distinguished career with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an Agricultural Specialist. Through years of commitment and expertise, he advanced to the GS-13 level and steps, serving as a senior specialist and technical expert. His work required sound judgment, integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of duty. He approached his responsibilities with the same seriousness and dependability that characterized his life.

Above all else, Patrick was a family man, survived by his adoring wife and children. He was the devoted husband of Emmanuela and the proud father of Linda, Patrice, and Daniel. He worked tirelessly to provide, protect, guide, and create opportunities for his family. His love was often expressed in practical ways by showing up, offering advice, or just a shoulder to lean on, all with a smile.

Patrick will be remembered as a humble, genuinely kind man, loyal in his relationships, generous with what he had, helpful when others were in need, and committed to the people entrusted to his care. He understood the dignity of honest work and lived with a strong sense of obligation to family and community. His achievements were significant, but his greatest legacy is found in the lives he touched, the family he loved, the students he taught, the people he served, and the example of perseverance, faith, and responsibility he leaves behind.
