Pamela Kay McLaughlin

Pamela Kay McLaughlin, age 72, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on June 23, 2026. She was born on August 5,1953, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Willis and Velma Monk.

Pam was a graduate of Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth. After graduation she worked for Justin Boot Company, followed by a time at Williamson Dickies outlet before securing her position at Alcon Laboratories where she dedicated herself for nearly 30 years before retirement.

Pam was a devoted friend, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and Nana. She spent her time after retirement caring for her loved ones, being the center of family gatherings and showing her love, faith, grace, and support to those around her the way only she could.

Her love remains a guiding presence for all who know her. She will forever be loved and missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Velma Monk. She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Cary McLaughlin, her son Clayton and wife Yuridia, and her daughter Andrea. Her brother Leon and wife Johnnie, her sister, Judy and husband Jack, multiple nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 18th, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home in Burleson, Texas. To express sympathy to the family flowers may be sent to the Lucas Funeral home.
