Nora Ruiz

November 5, 1961 — February 7, 2026

Grand Prairie

Nora Ruiz was born on November 5, 1961, on the lower east side of Manhattan. She was a fearless determined New Yorker with joyful enthusiasm for life. In 2005, she relocated to Texas together with her parents so she could be closer to her immediate family until her passing on February 7, 2026.

Nora enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and dancing to her favorite music. But most of all, she loved spending quality time with her family. She loved her family more than anything, and we were very blessed to have someone as pure as her. A true angel on earth who embodied unconditional love. To know her was a gift and to be in her presence was pure joy. Her heart was as vast as the ocean, and her capacity to care and empathize knew no bounds.

Nora Ruiz is survived by her parents, sister, brother, nieces, great nieces, and nephews.

She has left an indelible mark on our lives and touched the hearts of many through her generosity, kindness, and vivacious spirit. As we lay her soul to rest, we can find solace in the love and beautiful memories she instilled in our legacy.
