Noma Jean Dalton

Noma Jean Dalton, 97, of Haslet, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in Fort Worth. She was born September 12, 1928, to Ferrell and Fairie Boyd in Baird, Texas.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, at Abilene Municipal Cemetery in Abilene.

Noma enjoyed expressing her creativity through painting and quilting. She worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 35 years before retiring. Above all, she adored her family, especially her beloved granddaughter, Britani.

She is survived by her son, Greg Dalton, and his wife Karen; granddaughter Britani Thorn; great-granddaughter Mila Thorn; and sister-in-law Iwanda Boyd.

Noma was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Boyd; sister, Wanda Beaird; and brother-in-law, J.C. Beaird.

Her warmth, creativity, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed.
