Fort Worth

Nicole Polito, 28, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, supported lovingly by her family and friends. Nicole, whose warmth and kindness brought joy to all who knew her, will forever be remembered for her resilience, honesty, and radiant spirit, a true sunshine to everyone around her. Born July 7, 1996, in Park Ridge, Illinois, Nicole was welcomed into the family of Judy and Dean Polito and grew up alongside her beloved sister, Krista. Nicole dedicated herself wholeheartedly to academics and service, becoming a proud Terry Scholar and Vice President of Community Service for Kappa Delta sorority at Texas Tech University. After graduating, she began a fulfilling career at Sewell Automotive in DFW in 2019, where her engaging presence and genuine concern for others shined through in her daily interactions. Nicole met and married the love of her life, Whitney Polito, in 2020. Together, they built a life grounded in compassion, adventure, and boundless love. Their greatest blessing arrived in 2022 with the birth of their cherished son, Mac. Nicole treasured every moment of motherhood, taking delight in watching Mac grow, thrive, and experience new joys. With her adventurous spirit, Nicole embraced life's small and grand adventures alike. She was passionate about traveling, eager to immerse herself in new cultures and flavors and always enthusiastic about sharing those experiences with her family, especially appreciating the joy of exploring with Whitney and Mac. Nicole leaves behind her wife, Whitney Polito; their precious son, Mac; her loving mother, Judy Polito; and dear sister, Krista Polito, who will carry on the warmth and radiant legacy Nicole so beautifully embodied. Nicole joins her father, Dean, in eternal peace. A funeral to celebrate Nicole's extraordinary life will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line, Hurst, TX 76053, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Andy Perez. Flowers may be ordered through the funeral home or any local DFW florist. Even in death, our love endures.
