Nicole Jacobazzi, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and nurse, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Roanoke, Texas.
Nicole was born in Fargo, North Dakota. She met her husband Erick while he was serving in the Navy, and she was working as a nanny. They were married on March 8, 1992, and shared a loving marriage of more than 34 years.
The couple lived in Southern California before moving to Illinois while Erick attended school, and later to Minnesota, where they started their family. Their daughter Sydney was born in 2001 and their son Ian in 2003. In 2013, the family moved to Vernon Hills, Illinois, and in 2019 they relocated to the DFW area in Texas. Nicole embraced every new chapter with grace and resilience, always putting her family first.
A dedicated and compassionate nurse, Nicole was currently caring for patients at CareNow in Roanoke, Texas. Her friends and family valued her kindness and sense of humor. She could always make those around her smile. Above all, Nicole cherished her family and will be remembered for her laugh and smile and infectious sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her, and her absence leaves a lasting void in the lives of her family, friends and colleagues.
Nicole is survived by her loving husband Erick Jacobazzi, her children Sydney and Ian, her parents Bill and Pam Klocke, her sister Shannon Klocke, her half-brother Carter Olson and many other cherished family members and friends.
She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her unconditional love, and the light she brought into every room. Her presence filled their home and hearts.
