Nicholas James Meyer

Nicholas James Meyer, 29, passed away on May 19, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at a later date  at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.  Nicholas was born on October 14, 1996, to James Freedman and Charity Meyer. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in spending time fishing, camping, and enjoying nature with those he loved most. Nicholas was a talented software engineer who was not only gifted with technology, but also skilled with his hands and always willing to help others. He enjoyed sports, cooking, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Above all else, Nicholas treasured the time he spent with his family, who were the center of his life.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Arantxa Meyer; his parents, Charity York and husband Roger, and James Freedman and Fiancée Angel; his sisters, Hannah Freedman, Grace Turner and husband Ian, Abigail York, Olivia York, and Madison Wilson-York; his nephew, Mylo Turner; his grandparents, Robert and Deborah Meyer, and Charlotte Freedman; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Freedman.
