Nash Trujillo, 38, left this world on Saturday, September 6, and walked into the arms of Jesus. Nash’s life was forever changed by his faith. His relationship with Christ reshaped his heart, gave him purpose, and blessed him with more than he ever dreamed—most of all, his family.
Nash lived with joy and generosity. He lit up every room with his big smile, contagious laugh, and unforgettable hugs. He had a heart for the outsider, always making sure people felt included and cared for. His kindness and compassion were felt by everyone who knew him.
Family meant everything to Nash. His wife, Kelsey, was the love of his life, and his daughters—his “princesses,” Sage and Hazel—were his greatest joy. They were his whole world and filled his heart with pride and gratitude.
Nash also cherished the relationship he had with his “dad,” Larry Titus, whose presence shaped his life in profound ways. Nash often said Larry blessed his life simply by being himself, and he was deeply thankful for the example of love Larry showed—reflecting the love of the Father. Their travels together around the world created memories Nash treasured deeply.
Though his time here was far too short, Nash’s faith, his love for people and family, and even his playful habit of giving nicknames will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his wife, Kelsey Trujillo; daughters, Sage and Hazel; parents, Karla and Tyson Schmidt; father, Glen Trujillo; his “dad,” Larry Titus; siblings, Keaton Schmidt, Anthony Trujillo, Cash Trujillo, and Harmony Trujillo; along with many extended family members and friends who will carry on his legacy of love, faith, and belonging.
A celebration of Nash’s life will be held Thursday, September 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Keystone Church, 1939 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248. Flowers may be sent to the church for arrival by 8:00 a.m. that morning.
In lieu of additional gifts, donations may be made to support the family Nash so dearly loved at Support the Trujillo Family.
