COLLEYVILLE -- Minnie L. "Jeannie" Spivey passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, followed by interment in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
Minnie, a loving mother, grandmother and wife, was born May 3, 1922, in Collinsville.
The family wishes to thank caregivers Cecilia and Kimberly.
Survivors: Husband of 71 years, James A. Spivey; sons, Gerald Lynn Spivey, James "Alan" Spivey and wife, Mary; daughter, Paulette "Paula" Delka and husband, Lyle; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews and relatives.
