Michelle Elaine Barber, age 65, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Michelle was a devoted wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and aunt, whose life was marked by deep faith, compassion, and service to others. A committed follower of Jesus Christ, Michelle lived her faith boldly and intentionally. She channeled Christ’s love into a ministry, Deeper Still, that is dedicated to helping women and men find healing and restoration after abortion trauma. Through her gentle spirit, wisdom, and unwavering empathy, she touched countless lives and offered hope to those who needed it most.
Michelle’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Barber; her daughter, Madison Barber; her son, Branden Barber; her daughter-in-law, Makenzie Barber; her cherished granddaughter, Sloan; and her sisters, Teresa and Rebecca. She was the heart of her family—steadfast, nurturing, and endlessly loving.
Those who knew Michelle will remember her for her remarkable administrative skills, her servant’s heart, and her ability to make others feel seen, heard, and valued. Her loved ones often remarked that “everyone needs a Michelle in their life.” Her legacy of faith, love, and healing will continue to live on through the many lives she influenced.
Michelle’s life was a testimony of grace, redemption, and love, and she will be deeply missed until the day her loved ones are reunited with her in glory.
