Jan 9, 1946 — Jun 11, 2026

Euless, Texas

Michael Edward Morgan, 80, of Euless, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2026, at Grapevine Medical Lodge after a long struggle following a stroke.

Michael was born on January 9, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, to Howard Morgan and Rose Evelyn Boswell. He grew up in the Atlanta, Georgia, area and graduated from Lithonia High School in 1964.

Later, he moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he met the love of his life, Cheryl Franklin, while visiting a local church. Cheryl was the church pianist, and the two were married on November 22, 1968, at Lighthouse Tabernacle in Indianapolis.

Michael dearly loved his family and was devoted to the Lord. He enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music and had a special interest in ventriloquism. He performed with a ventriloquist figure named Randy, sharing joy and biblical lessons with children and families.

Together, Michael and his family ministered through numerous Kids’ Crusades and children’s camps. Their presentations featured Randy, a beautiful puppet castle, Puppet Productions puppets, professionally recorded Bible stories, and hand-painted black-light flannelgraph scenes that brought Bible stories to life.

Later in his career, Michael became a legal videographer and founded his company, Legal Video Productions.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Cheryl Morgan; his children, Thomas Morgan, Michael Morgan, and Lisa Morgan; his daughter-in-law, Nadine Morgan; and his grandchildren, Elyssa Morgan, Chloe Morgan, and Emily Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Morgan and Rose Evelyn Boswell, and his siblings, Howard Allen Morgan and Patricia Starr.

Michael will be remembered for his faith, his love for family, his creativity in children’s ministry, and the kindness he shared with all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
