Michael Dean Lowe

August 9, 1948 — December 10, 2025

Burleson, Texas

Michael Dean Lowe, resident of Burleson, TX, formerly of Arlington, TX, passed away on December 10, 2025 in Burleson, TX at the age of 77.

Michael was born and raised in Dallas, TX and moved to Pantego, TX in high school with his mom, dad and sister in 1963. He attended Arlington HS and Pantego Bible Church, where he met Judy Lambert, his future wife. Michael played HS football, loved to ride his horse, go fishing and work on cars with his dad. He worked as a mechanic when he was young. He also started volunteer firefighting with his dad in Pantego and fell in love with it. He later became a professional firefighter at North Richland Hills for a few years, then spent 26 years with Arlington Fire Department as a firefighter, and was later promoted to an engineer. He retired from active duty and then went into fire equipment sales for a brief time before becoming a service center manager for the Dallas Fire department. He would often take part-time jobs driving charter buses and 18-wheelers as well as mowing yards to support his family, whom he loved fiercely. He loved to make others laugh and spend quality time with family and friends. Michael loved hard. He took care of his own wife and daughter, his parents, his wife's parents, and siblings, as well as countless friends, and later, his son-in-law and grandchildren. His loved ones describe him as kind, caring and compassionate. He loved others, just as God loved him.

He is survived by his wife Judy Lowe. His daughter Keri Bray and her husband Robert Bray as well as their children Chaya Bray, Eli Bray and Ephram Bray.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnell and Audra Lowe, and his sister Mary Bruton, and her husband John Bruton.

The visitation and service will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church Tuesday, Dec 23rd at 10:00AM with the funeral service to follow at 11:30AM.

The graveside will be held at Burleson Memorial Cemetery on Friday, January 2nd.
