Michael Huff lived with warmth, kindness, and a gift for connecting with others. He was born on April 5, 1966, to Carolyn and David Huff, with older brother Craig and younger sister Karen completing the family. From a young age, Michael developed a lifelong interest in electronics, later building a career as a business entrepreneur in cable, electronics, and personal computer applications.
He built a loving family with Terrie "Snippy" Shipp Huff, to whom he was married for 31 years, and their children, Christian "Bo" Huff and Kendall "Woo" Huff. Michael took immense pride in his children and cherished his family.
Known for his cheerful demeanor and friendly manner, Michael made friends easily and remained high-spirited and uncomplaining even as his health declined. His mother, Carolyn Bussie Huff, and brother-in-law, Allen Barron Shipp, predeceased him. He is survived by his wife Terrie "Snippy" Huff of Grapevine, his children Christian
"Bo" Huff and Kendall "Woo" Huff of Grapevine, his father David Huff of Round Rock, his brother Craig Huff of New York City, his sister Karen Huff Pump of Round Rock, and their spouses and children.
Michael died September 27, 2025, surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life will be held near his birthday in April 2026, honoring what would have been his 60th year. His family invites donations in his memory to Austin Boxer Rescue, P.O. Box 14421, Austin, Texas 78761.
