Micah Langat

March 22, 1999 — April 24, 2025

Micah was born March 22, 1999 in Amarillo to Japheth and Clarice Langat. He attended in school in Keller and where he graduated from Central High School. He later attended Harding University and Lubbock Christian University.

Micah was a deeply loving and thoughtful person who cherished the people and moments that brought him joy. He often reflected on his childhood with warmth-days filled with laughter, play, and the comforting presence of his family. His creativity and imagination lit up his early years, and he carried a deep sense of love and connection into his teens and adulthood. Though life presented him with challenges, Micah remained emotionally open and deeply empathetic, always valuing relationships over everything else.

In school and college, he built strong friendships and collected cherished memories. He celebrated life in his own unique way-appreciating the little things, learning from experiences, and always trying to grow. Even during difficult times, Micah found comfort in faith, love, and reflection. His introspective nature helped him understand the world and his place in it.

Micah dreamed of a future filled with peace, acceptance, and love for all. He believed in the importance of kindness and wished for a world where people lifted one another up. His heart was full of hope for others, and he wanted those he loved to know how much they meant to him. In every word and memory, Micah left behind a legacy of love, warmth, and compassion.

Micah is survived by his parents, Japheth and Clarice Langat; sisters, Katelynn Langat and Adriana Roark and husband Elijah; grandparents, Pius and Zipporah Langat and Johnnie and Zoe Perkins; niece Lorena Roark.

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
