Mary Lean Stigger

Sunrise March 10, 1935        Sunset September 5, 2026

After 91 blessed years, Mary Lean Stigger gained her wings in heaven. She was born in Timpson, Texas to the late Limmie Dee Johnson and Monroe Johnson. She celebrated her upbringing with her ten siblings. Growing up on a farm and learning all the skills to be a hard worker, an amazing cook and a loving human.

Mary married James Stigger on April 20, 1963. They went on to have 7 children and their loving spouses Carolyn Montgomery, Eric Montgomery, Kathy Bryant, Kenneth Stigger, Carrie Stigger, Carl Stigger, Keith Stigger, Angie Stigger Marlon Stigger, and James Costello. She also loved and cherished her 37 grandchildren.

Mary looked to our Lord and Savior for guidance throughout her entire life. A woman fiercely protective of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. You could always find joy in her smile and her kindness. Mary has left an indelible mark of love on everyone she encountered. She will be missed tremendously and never forgotten.
